Ballet 6 times a week?opera sheet music
try doing some classes on weekends and stop some on weeknights also if you have time in between classes
(like say you have ballet 5-6:30 and then you don;t take pointe and then you have modren at 8:30-9:45 do it during pointe) also do some on the way to and from school and dance
it really helps!
i'm homeschooled but my best friend has to deal with this ALOT
and if you ahve a free period? gues what your doing? HOMEWORK

wow. I think you should only do ballet 3 times a week instead of 6.
I've been doing ballet for 11 years, 5 times a week, but you just have to learn some time management skills. Do your homework on the way to dance or find other time. You could cut out some tv time or even some dance depending on how devoted you are. You could ask your teachers for some help and explain how little time you have on your hands.
You have to think about your future. If you're palnning on going to a college for dance you should make sure you ahve the grades to support your art. During the school year you should consider cutting down on dance and, and take as many dance classes a you want in the summer when you don't have to foucus as much on school. Hope I helped.
Ok, hold on a sec.. I am also a ballet dancer and I do dance a lot, but girl, you dance way too much. You could dance yourself to death if you wanted too since you dance so much. Just keep it to 2-3 times a week. It doesn't have to be so much. And besides, school is ,more important than anything. You can quit ballet, but you cant quit school (unless your 16+). School comes first. Good Luck and try to catch up on your homework.

you probably could afford to cut back a little back maybe instead of 6 times a week try 4. it seems that ballet is something your really passionate about, but you can be doing so much more, different activities, hanging with friends, volunteering, and like you said more time for homework! I'm very passionate about dancing too, but I have cut back a bit so I can focus on other stuff that is important to me as well. Just because you cut back doesn't mean that your not as interested in ballet but that your interested in having a study and social life as well. and by taking less classes you can really put more energy into your classes that you take. : )
wow well i do ballet about 4 times a week and it made my whole schedual alot less hectic
i suggest working on homework during lunch, and during breaks at dance--but be realistic about what you can get done during times like that. if you have a study hall, you have to study, not chat with your friends. if you really want to stick to your dance schedule, you have to balance your other priorities as best you can. i know what you're going through, i used to dance every day for a few hours, and horseback ride too. it can be tough trying to get it all to work!
you can do it--use the discipline you've learned from ballet and bring it into the rest of your life.
good luck
