if there's an advanced beginner level that would be a good point to start...it will start with the basics and refresh positions, proper muscle use, etc. but won't be condescending....if not, there should be an intermediate level that will be comfortable....tell the school director your years of experience and how long it's been and ask her/his advice on which level you will get back into it the quickest without harming your muscles or forcing/faking/using bad technique to make it look like you are keeping up. Just remember you only get one body so don't push beyond what you can do or force 180% turnout on your first day if it's not coming from your hips....do what you can and practice, stretch and lengthen muscles and you'll reach that point. If you injure yourself you're not gonna impress anyone and you could do serious harm to your muscles and joints.

Try an intermediate course first since you already know the basics. Speak with the instructor beforehand if you can and see what they suggest. Have fun! :)
Talk to the person who owns the school They will ask you some questions and place you in a class. If you find the class is to easy or too hard, you can always make a switch. Good luck!
My advice - start from the beginning and work your way up. Most likely you will steam roll right through the first few grades, but it's best to learn the basics of ballet to be the best dancer you can be. Any missed information in the first few grades will come back to haunt you.

You'll probably feel a little weird when first starting out, because most will be younger than you. But you would be surprised how many people your age are just picking up ballet.

The fact that you have previous experience is great! I would still suggest taking the longer way around and jumping in on those introductory classes. Good luck!
when you start, the teachers will see where they think you should be placed. they can always put you in a harder or easier class accordingly.
see your own standard now.consult instructors or personals there
