i wanna study ballet very badly......
but der rnt any classes here...so i was planning to buy a cd which will help me learn ballet ...except pointe work....my question is, if i buy a cd, will it work out %26amp; if it will, which 1 shud i buy? please help............i love ballet...
I want to study ballet..if i buy a cd of ballet for beginners, would it work? [except pointe work]?concerts
Instead of buying a cd I would enroll in a class. First of if you use a dvd you could do the moves wrong and in time really hurt yourself. An instructor can help you get better.

then u should look harder for classes but i don't think the cd r going to be as good as the real thing
1. do not buy dvd's /cd's to gain knowledge in any type of dance ,because you really need someone tellng you what you're doing if it's wrong or right , because you could seriously hurt yourself. You could think , feel or look as though you're copying it the same way as on T.V but you might be rolling over your toes or sickling or not putting your heels down enough and it takes more than a mirror to be able to see that.
Hope that helps
Glad to hear that you want to learn ballet!
First of all: Buying a CD or a DVD can end up causing you damage. So you need to make sure that it is a proper CD/DVD you get. I am not really familiar in this area, but I've heard that this should be really great:

hope you'll have fun with ballet!
Good luck

NOOOOO! No offense, but dvds arent going to tell you what u are doing wrong, and what u need to improve on. Drive 30 minutes if u need 2.
it depends, if you want to learn for fun it would be fun but otherwise it wont work, and good that you know not to do pointe without a teacher
