its like a entrechat except instead of switching feet in air, you end up with the same foot forward as you started (leg beats in back midair then returns to original position).

That's an entrechat. You don't switch feet on an entrechat. You switch in a changement or a royale. A Royale will beat front and then switch. A Changement just switches. An Entrechat beats back and then returns front.

You should invest in the "Techniacl Manual and Dictionary of Classical Ballet" by Gail Grant. It is an amazing resource!
