Ballet advice ...?

well...my mum wants me to quit ballet cos buying all the stuff like pointe shoes and paying for the classes is getting kinda expensive, so she wants me to quit .She doesnt really understand how much i love it.Could you please give me some advice on how i can persuade her to let me continue with ballet?thanks.

If you took a job, you could help her paying, 'cause then it would not be that expensive for her. Also tell her how you feel about dancing. It may help.

If you are old enough , why don't you get a paper round or something and pay for the things yourself. If you have got any shows coming up , smile all the time on stage and dance as well as you can so she can see how much you enjoy it and how talented you are at it.
i agree. try to find a job to help pay 4 it. also, try being really nice to ur mom. tell her how much u love ballet but do it in a calm, mature tone. also, getting a job will show her how dedicated u r to ballet. if she sees that u are willing to work 4 somethin u want, she'll be more willing to let u keep taking because of ur mature approach to the situation.
I love ballet with a passion and have studied it for many many years since I was about 2/3 years old I have been in performing arts schools and ballet schools. For someone to be a successful Ballerina their parents need to be able to support you and if you are struggling to pay for necessities like pointe shoes, then what will it be like if you try out for a professional royal ballet school? Keep it more as a hobby until your able to fund for it and also tell your mum how it makes you feel and it is also very good for your health and fitness and can be a very rewarding career in the future! u could save ur money to help her pay for like half of the things u need to pay 4 ballet...hope it helped!
