its never too late!!! if she has the drive and dedication for ballet than she will defiantly succeed. the more she practices and pays close attention in class the faster she will get caught up with other girls her age. most studios offer teen beginner classes, which REALLY help! i took a teen beg. class for ballet and the next year they put me on pointe. she just needs to work her butt off and know that it is going to take some time to learn all of the technique. how good she will be just really depends on how much effort she puts into her classes and practicing at home. how far she can go... as far as she wants! if she works hard she could go onto pointe, or join a company, or even go professional if she wanted. its never too late for ballet!!!!

So the girl was 16 yearsold and asked you if it was too late to start ballet or salsa. Could you put more in your question theres not enough information to answer, spefically her weight, height, learning abilities and all of that fine stuff.
If she wants to be a professional ballet dancer she's too late but you're never too late to learn.
Well, it depends...too late for what? It is probably too late for her to be a professional ballet dancer (although I suppose there are exceptions), but it is never too late to dance recreationally and enjoy it.
It`s never to late to start something new, the sky is the limit and there is not sky really!!!!
